Did you get sweat in it? I did that to my Nano once, and it froze up. Completely. I had to wait until the battery died so that it would reboot itself.

You don't still have the Hold on, do you?
just a suggestion, move your hold switch back and forth about 5 times, making sure that it is in the off position when you are done.
then, press the menu button then the select button (the center circle) a few times.
Then, hold down the menu button and the select button at the same time, you will have to hold it for a few seconds...see if that reboots it.
