While watching this show there was lots of blood and gore from accidents, gunshots, stabbings, etc.
Yet, they blurred out the pelvic areas of both men and women and the breasts of women.
Why is it that society today sees the "sexual" parts of the human body as offensive, yet injuries sustained upon the body not?
I agree with you, I mean if it looks good why not share it with the rest of us? eh?

Privacy rights for the injured/deceased.
EDIT: perhaps it is up to the person, or their family (such as their Power of Attorney). I'm pretty sure there is a contract that you have to sign and if you don't want your privates to be shown on television, then it is your choice.
