x1= +sqr(65)+8
and x2= -sqr(65)+8
use the Quadratic formula
so the answer turns out to be
= 8 + or - sq root 65
x^2 -1 = 16x
x^2 - 16X - 1 = 0
x^2 - 16X - 1 + 65 = 65
(X - 8)² = 65
(x - 8) = ±√65
x = 8 ±√65
.
