It's a good idea to talk to your mother if she'll be supportive unlike Sarah Palin. If you want to terminate the pregnancy in Connecticut go to your local Planned Parenthood Office, and they'll advise you. In some states if parents don't want to approve an abortion, the minor can go directly to family court and get a judge to allow it, provided you give good reasons, like the ones you have. Planned Parenthood will explain all that to you and then they'll perform the abortion. Don't wait too long though, because as the pregnancy progresses, everything becomes more complicated. No, you did not ruin your lives. It takes two people to make a baby so it's both of your faults. I'm not sure what the legal abortion age is in your state, but you should definitely talk to your mother before you do anything. I know it seems like this is the end of the world but things really will work out.
That sucks for the two of you but your lives are not ruined. Abortion is an option but there are others as well. Please talk to your parents about this or an older relative whom you feel comfortable talking to. Your parents might not freak out like you think they will. My sister was preg at 16 by a guy she was forbidden to see. Yes my parents were livid for about 2 hours until they realize she was still their little girl and needed their love more then anything else they could have given her.
