Hi,
I hope u can help me out. I can't tell my mom or my sis about what happened and i don't have anybody to consult.
While visiting my in-laws, i had a fight wz my husband over something really silly. Things escalated and he knock me down twice(later there were bruises on my arms and one leg).My little son-almost 5 yrs-heard our voices & told his granny that we were fighting so she came wz my sis in-laws to find out what is going on.In front of them he touched my face wz his hand(it wasn't a slap but it would have been if he was standing correctly).

I felt so insulted and embarrassed coz he did so in front of his mom and 2 sis and later his father knows what happened. My pride hurts me so much, i feel that something is broken between us. I cried alot and his family took my side and forced him to apologize but i can't 4give him. Every single day i remember what happened....i can't forget. Things between us are not the same. We are speaking but not like b4. Life at home is not like b4.We can be staying at the same room but not speaking or communicating in a way or another unless one of us has something to say.

The fact that he hit you & in front of your other family members at that, is a very serious matter. Hate to say this, but that could be the beginning of something even worse, so my advice to you is- GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!! & this is not just your safety and wellbeing we're talking about here-it's also your child's. This is not something you should be embarrassed about at all- it is NOT your fault (& he has NO right to hit you for ANY reason). If someone should be embarrassed-it's him. So I would suggest to you that you find someone who will be able to help you (try to talk to your mom and sis if at all possible), so you have some support & get out of that relationship before things get worse. I really wish you best of luck!
right now i feel both of u cannot overcome tht incident .No doubt he was wrong but u must have also done or said something .now since he has appologised his male ego is hurt what best u can do is go to ur parents place wz kid n stay for a couple of days n let him cool down while u also cool down wait for hiim to call u back else u can think of breaking up.
you now have to make the decision of a lifetime. He put his hands on you in a way that will now never cease. I know that you know this deep down. You need to do what is best for you and your son do you really want him to grow up believing that this is how a man and a woman coexist? You want what is best for him. When your husband crossed this line he must of known that he could not cross back over. Please take some time and realize that it will not get any better and if you still have doubt think for a moment his parents had to make him apologize which shows me that he feels he did nothing wrong. Get out now before he takes what self esteem you have left and creates a world that will be more difficult to get out of. Remember no one has the right to invade your personal space such as he has done and in the manner he chose. Good luck
