They could be simple razor burns. Try not shaving down there, see if the problem persists, if not, then try a cream if you wish to shave again

This works for me to prevent razor burn in my bikini/pubic area. I would let it heal first before you try again though. I use Mary Kay Satin Hands, its a 3 step hand pampering set. The first step is an emollient cream, I put that on the area to be shaved a few minutes before shaving. Then use shave cream/gel to shave the area. Then I use the second step which is an exfoliate, I gently scrub the area just shaved, this gets rid of the dead skin (which will also help within grown hairs). Then I wash it off in the shower. Then pat dry and use the 3rd step which is a hand cream/lotion. This works really well for me. Hope it helps, good luck.
