Things are going badly in my life. I am unemployed, declared bankruptcy and losing my house. I am having no luck finding a job and my marriage has had problems for years. The only great thing are my kids.
Before going to bed I asked God to send me an answer on what to do. This was the dream.
I was in an office with a small woman and she was showing me a computer screen that had a database of videos (that were like the ones shown on America's Funniest Home Videos) and told me that they were free content for a website. I said that is great because I have a website called www.laughingstock.com registered and could use this content to make the site. Then I woke up.
Other points. Laughingstock is the name of a humor column I did in college for the school newspaper. I have several website names registered but not laughingstock. Lately I have been providing "free content" as a blogger on daddy issues for The Detroit News' website.
I can't figure out if this is really a message or just subconscious blips coming together. What might it mean?

God always confirms His answer at least 3 times.
Keep seeking Him! Tell your flesh to get under the subjection to the will of God.

What?! No way! You who cares if its an answer from God or not! You should run with that idea : ) It sounds pretty cool to me. Oh and BTW, God gave us Free Will....so take the will to control your life, don't wait around for something to be revealed to you, otherwise you'd be wasting your time.
I think your subconscious is really searching hard for something. I think that overall, you are looking to save yourself with some major breakthrough.
Get an ok job, and work on building this site up in your free time. Who knows? Maybe you'll make some major money off of that site!
well all i can say is pray on it. god will reveal himslef before you know it, and remeber have faith. it's easy to follow god in the hard times, but you can easly forget him in the good times when things are going your way. hope this helped, god bless!!! Sounds like God is trying to give you some guidance on a way you are qualified to make money to support your family. Humor and misery are hand in hand. They make for excellent skits. Best you protect the domain idea first quickly if you can. Then work out the profit ideas.
I like to say that the universe answers our questions. I don't believe in a seperate being called god , I believe we are all god. I'm in roughly the same boat as you myself, minus the mortgage and wife. But everything else is pretty scary right now.

The universe loves speed, if you get an idea and it feels right, ignore the fear (your higher self trying to keep you in the human game) and just do it.

Let me just say this could be a God-given dream as He is a God that cares for us and wants to bless us. But first He cares about the condition of our hearts and relationship with others. First about the dream, it may simply be saying that there are resources that you are not aware of that are available to you to help you and your family move forward. These resources are more readily available to you than you realize.
Second, it was sincere of you to ask God to speak to you through a dream, but don't limit God as to how He speaks. God can speak to you as you're driving, through Christian music, times of prayer, reading the bible, etc. Much like the dream you had, many times the answers we seek are right under our noses all we have to do is be still, look, and listen.
If you have a bible, I suggest you start a daily habit of reading it as that is the main way God will speak to you. Also pray for God to change things within you and personal issues YOU are struggling with, rather than asking Him to change everything and everyone else; cause it could be that once inner issues are mended, resolved, at peace, everything else will fall into place....above all, keep God first in your life.
