as you find them just scoop them onto a piece of paper and take them outside. as the weather turns cooler, many insects may try to come indoors.
Walk around outside and you will likely find a clump of them near an access to your house. They are looking for a place to spend the winter. The place must be dry, have air circulation and other requirements I do not understand. Collect the ones inside your house and put them with the others outside (you do want them to eat your aphids and scale insects in the spring don't you). Find out how they are entering your house and seal it up, caulk works on gaps and cracks. You could build a little house, like a bird house, for them. It would have slats to allow air circulation and a roof to keep out the rain. place it on or very near the ground. Your lady bugs will become active on warm days but will not stray much until the first days of spring. What Should I Read Next?:: What Should I Read Next?
