I have a HUGE soccer game tomorrow, its determines whether we get into the playoffs or not, but I got a really bad head cold this morning...basically just stuffed up and my head hurts...any good ways to get rid of it quickly? Thanks!
Zicam and lots and lots of water or orange juice. Also try using SHOWER SOOTHERS you will still have you cold but should feel better.
i don't think theres a way to completely get rid of the cold but i know how t get rid of the stuffiness. Get some vaseline, put it into a bowl of boiling water and leave it for 2 mins, then grab a towel put it over your head and lean over the bowl letting al the steam onto your face and into your nose mouth etc. REmember to close your eyes, it'll sting at first and feel really hot but you'll get use to it, id say around 10 mins three times would be good. take breaks in between. There really isn't any way to get rid of cold fast. Viruses have to run their course. Get lots of rest, drink plenty of fluids and consider taking a decongestant to treat the stuffed up symptoms.
The only way to get rid of a cold is to let it run its course. To relieve your symptoms take some OTC meds like Alive cold and sinus or similar. Also, take b12 and drink lots of fluids and make sure to get your OJ each morning....
take some tylenol or some cold medicine. and sweat it out. like stay under a warm blanket and literally sweat it out. rest for a while. and after take a shower.
*good luck on your soccer game! hope u get in!*
I don't think it'll be gone by tomorrow but I've had great luck with Airborne. It's a tablet you dissolve in water and you take it every 3 hours. It always gets me feeling better than others in my family who have a cold and won't take it. Good luck at your game.
