I am sorry but I am still having a good laugh over this one....cast you mind back to last week when I brought Q fare, after sleeping on it over night i decided I really wanted to play aerolotto, well after many calls to the SE desk who would not let me pay another $600 to upgrade to H because the fare was non upgradable.(Why would you have any fares that were not??)..
Well .......checked in at LHR today and guess who got his first comp of the year...whoo hooo....

I am talking about the direct non-stop YYZ-DEL flight, not the YYZ-LHR flight (PS-Does AC codeshare on any other airline that flies direct nonstop from LHR to DEL?). The message states that no such fares on this route and/or these dates are available. I am wondering if the C fare on the YYZ-DEL route is only available through travel agents, not through the AC web site?

I live way over here in India and am going to try out the new AC non-stop DEL-YYZ service in December.
When I booked the trip with my local travel agent, he gave me a pretty decent C class fare for the DEL-YYZ-DEL round trip.
As I had planned some other travel within Canada on my trip (YYZ-YVR-YEG-YYZ), for a lark I asked him to quote me a fare for the whole trip, all in business class (DEL-YYZ-YVR-YEG-YYZ-DEL).

Much to my amazement and surprise, the extension of the trip YYZ-YVR-YEG-YYZ (business class, except for the YVR-YEG leg on Zip) only added about $200 bucks (USD) to the original fare. Seems that the fare rules actually make my ticket a DEL-YVR return fare, with stopovers in between.
As an added bonus, the whole trip will put about 24,000 q-miles onto my Aeroplan account...

What route are you referring to? If you are talking about DEL, then you will need to get a TA to get you the discount. There are no C class available for LHR.
When I try to find the C class fares on the AC web site, it says that this fare is not available on this route and/or these particular dates. I have entered a variety of nonpeak season midweek dates, with no success.
