if I want collumn G to automatically calculate the percentage that collumn F is of collumn G, what function would accomplish this. collumns E and F both have several numbers, and I want G to represent the percentage of the two numbers in its row. for example, if collumn F is 3, and collumn E is 100, then I want collumn G to say 3%, and I want it to calculate this automatically for every row on its own.

Format col G as percentage. Right-click on the G header, choose Format Cells, Number, percentage
In G1 put =F1/E1
Highlight G1 and copy the cell to the clipboard.

I have two Excel workbooks that I use on a regular basis. blank or zero and leave the other rows of data as is if there is a value in the OP column.
