I got my belly button pierced back in July. Then a month ago i had it stretched from a 16g to a 14g. Dont ask me why the retard who did it pierced it with a 16g cuz i dunno. Anyways.. i know its not fully healed yet cuz it takes about 6 months to a year to heal but it keeps going to thr right side. I straighten it out and it goes back to the right. It was fine when i first got it pierced. Then when i went back to get it stretched afterwards, it started to get really sore and red and swollen and it was always crooked and i couldnt straighten it out cuz it was so swollen. It's no longer swollen now and the redness and soreness has gone away. But its still crooked. How can i fix this without having to go back and get it redone? I already tried taping it to the other side. Then when i take the bandage and tape off it goes to the other side. So please help. Thanks.
14g is the normal size for navels, I don't know why your piercer didn't pierce you at 14g to begin with. I think I remember reading your original question about your piercer putting a 14g in like a week after or something. Anyway, fist, don't go back to this piercer ever again. He/she obviously has no idea what they're doing. So if the piercing itself is crooked, the only think you can do is heal it back up and get it re-pierced. If the hole is straight and the jewelery keeps hanging to one side it might be because the jewelery is too long. If so, then I would wait at least 3 months. It sucks, I know, but you're piercing has been through hell and it needs a while to heal. After the 3 months take it back to a piercer and ask if they have anything your size. but it's impossible for me to know for sure what your problem is without seeing it. You should take it to a professional piercing studio (not some place in the mall) and ask them to take a look at it.
If
same as above, but make sure you keep it hydrated
dont wear such a heavy belly ring.
just go with something basic and light weight.
if its heavy, it'll stretch the hole.
if the problem persists, then take it out for a few days.
it'll begin to close, which will make the whole smaller.
then you can put the belly ring back in and it should be ok. :)
