okay, so i had a middle brown hair colour, with a kind of tinge of reddish (from it fading from when i dyed it last time). I dyed my hair using Clairol Nice n Easy "natural darkest brown." thinking it would be what it said ;) i thought wrong.
i dye it, and it comes out black. oh no :)
it has faded the tiniest bit, but it still is black. :( it doesnt look that aweful, kind of used to it now. but im just wondering if theres any way that i can fade it by using a kind of shampoo.

wet ur hair, put lots of shampoo on and lather it up. cover your hair with cling wrap then sit in the sun for 20 min... fades the colour good!
Blonde shampoo has purple toners in it to tone down the golds, nothing in it will lighten hair ..so it shouldnt do anything...
right. dont dye your hair. let it fade naturally(yes,it will take ages) also use HEAD AND SHOULDERS (no.1 hair dressing rule) it fades hair colour. and it does really work. Ive done exactly the same as you mine was brown and i dyed in red hated it so dyed it black and i REALLY HATE IT. i havent dyed it for ages and I can see all the brown coming through its looks stupid like but i just want natural hair again. so ive been using HEAD AND SHOULDERS to and it has helped.. so i recommend it!

Unforently, Black hair is the hardest color to get rid of. The only way to get rid of it completely is Bleach or getting your hair strip..
you have to go to a salon and get the colour stripped
its the only way, i tried everything else!
ask dad to possibly pay for hairdressers since he is so unkind
you really don`t want to mess with your hair and should see professional - did do same as you are going to at home and 1year later suffering with straw hair, dry scalp tc
