Someone on Yahoo said it meant 'to feel' and 'to desire'
Was the artist wrong!?
u shouldve done a little research b4 letting some dude tattoo u...
aw...
yeah... separately it does mean so...
感ã means sense, feeling, impression and not good word for inspiration.
欲ã means desire, greed, avarice and not good word for passion.
感欲ã looks like almost kind of sex animal and not good for people who knows real Japanese.
If you really need inspiratio & passion as Japanese, it must be japanese hotsprings for gals with tat - Japan Travel - tribe.net:: why what does dame mean..yeah i'm goingto be a silly gaijin fer surei just don't . It's a Japanese-style half-sleeve on my left I mean, I knew it was going to hurt, I had NOOOO clue that it was http://www.tattoos-gallery.net/japanese-peony-tattoosHOME |
The character on the left (感) means to sense, to feel, etc.
The one on the right (欲) measn desire or greed.
Together they don't really mean anyghing. One has nothing to do with the other.
Possibly the best way is too find some who actually is Japanese. Dont suppose you know someone.
It would be one way to get a true answer
You got a tattoo, and don't know what it mean?
Hia I think it means skank
I am Japanese.
unfortunately, the artist is wrong.
感ã means sense 欲ã means "state of being desperate to get something"
Also, 感欲ã two words together does not mean anything.
But, this is I am Japanese so, You also should ask Chinese speaker.
Chinese kanji and Japanese knaji is different
To Japanese, your tatoo is awkward.
but you are in America?? do not know.
Who cares??
欲 means to want, to "desire" as someone mentioned. For example it is used in Hoshii. ex. "I want a new car". no wear close is it to the words Passion or inspiration.
So whoever your artist was, needs to study up more on his Chinese or Japanese.
Unfortunately this is an ALL TO COMMON situation, that's why I really wish people would research BEFORE they get stuff tattooed on themselves.
No doubt it means feel and desire.
For inspiration, the artist must have intepreted it as a feeling so he tattooed 'feel'.
And for passion, the artist intepretated as passion equates to desire and tattooed 'desire'.
However, the second word is not a very nice word to actually use. Chinese people don't use that word and it has a bad connotation to it as it means more of lust.
