Get layers in the front... it helps control the puffy frizz, and eliminates that 'big hair' look. (plus it looks good curly and straight) I have curly/puffy hair too, and the best style I have found so far is blow-drying it with a diffuser. get some sort of light serum (the brand I use is bed head blow-dry lotion), apply it when your hair is wet, then blow dry with a diffuser.
