I have a flash 8 file, that needs to be a flash 8 file since it uses the new alpha masks that available only to flash 8. The problem is, the main timeline just has a movie clip stretched out on it so I can't export frames or a quicktime movie.
I bought the flash ants plugin that is supposed to export to swf files into premiere, but it only supports up to flash mx.
Does anyone have an idea of how I could get my flash 8 file into premiere. I have final cut as well, so if there was a way to get it into there, that would be cool too.

Someone else had a similar question here yesterday (not that you should have seen it, just interesting to me). Anyhow you ought to give Director a try (I suppose it's Adobe Director now, but that just sounds weird). They recently released an update to allow Flash 8 assets and Director should export an AVI or MOV file you can work with including any movieclips or actionscript generated sequences.

No problem. It was actually news to me that Director could do this recently. It came up at one of the sessions at Flash Forward in Seattle. Glad it helped. If you have any issues with setting up Flash in Director I may be able to help.
Wow, you just saved my life!!!! I didn't even think of using Director, and if I did, I wouldn't have realized there was an update for Flash 8. I am using the mask script that is new to Flash 8, and because I just had a movie clip stretched out on the main timeline, I couldn't export avi's or movie files from Flash. Premiere can't import flash 8 swf's yet.
You just saved me weeks of work!
