You got that from my question, huh? Well, I didn't just decide to because they have one. i just think it's the right thing to do. I don't want to be a girl who has a one night stand, gets pregnant, either has to abort or gets kicked out of the house, has the father back down, has her parents hating her, and being all alone in the world. See how much can happen. I'd rather keep my virginity until I'm married and that's it.

it's not a bad thing (if someone is doing it for the right reasons), but it shows that most teens/kids are just following the herd... and that's sad.
I feel the exact same way as you do. Ever since the Jonas Brothers went public about the whole purity ring thing. Not like it is a bad thing.... I just think that a lot of the people that wear them are posers. I don't havea purity ring because i don't think that i need one, but i am like you in that respect... I still am going to stay a virgin until marriage.... but anyways, my mom did get one for my older sister when she was like 2, ut then the place that she bought them from closed so i never ended up getting one when i was born...
