How long does it take for an abcess to form and bust? Could I die from it?
I've had this pain in my jaw for this week, I had the same problem in my right side of mouth a few months ago around april. Dentist said the tooth was abcessed. The pain in my left side doesn't hurt nowhere near as bad as the right side did. omanaccess.com - Omans Favourite Portal:: Hi, I had my wisdom teeth out 2 weeks ago. .my upper jaw tooth is coming in front..I feel my teeth arrangement has changed. http://www.omanaccess.com/community/dentist.aspHOME |
However, my jaw is slightly swollen where it hurts. The abcess tooth in the right side never swelled. The pain disappeared and there is no sign of a cyst or abcess lump in my mouth, just a swollen area on the outside of my lower left jaw and sensitive to touch.
BTW i'm 18 and my wisdom teeth are growing in.
Also, it's basically my molar and the whole root that hurts when I move it. This morning it was intense pain, now it's very slight DR.Oogle: Austin Dentist Help. It's probably your wisdom teeth, mine just came through last year. I used this gel to numb my gums and took some pain relief as well. Sometimes your wisdom teeth come through crooked and they have to be removed so just go see a dentist.
Or you could possibly have an infection in your root canal.
dont try to compare the two teeth.. does this tooth have a cavity? which molar is it , the first or the second? u shld go to ur dentist though coz if it is an abscess, u may need a root canal treatment..and antibiotics if its very severe..dont wait for the abscess to 'form and bust'.. a stitch in time saves nine...
It could be your wisdom teeth or an infection. I would go to the dentist and find out for sure which one. Them infections are nothing to mess with. The infection can get into your bloodstream and do some serious harm to your health and overtime it can kill you if left untreated. If it's just pain from the wisdom tooth, the dentist should still prescribe some pain killers.
