I was just lookin 4 sum signs which may mean labour is on the way! I have a few things goin on at the minute but i'd just like 2 hear ur opinions and see if any of the signs I am having actually mean anything! I am so uncomfortable at the minute and have been 4 a couple of wks now..I'd love nothing more than 2 go into labour 2night!! This is my 2nd child but with my 1st I had 2 b induced plus I had an epidural so I dont really know wot 2 b watchin out 4! Any facts or info wud b really appreciated! No silly answers tho please! You need to have regular contractions that are 5 minutes apart and keep coming consistently. You may also nest crazily, you may have diarrhea, you may notice you lose your mucus plug/bloody show, or you may just feel "different"
These were all of my signs ...
My first sign of labor was when my waters broke, my whole pregnancy I kept hearing "you will know when your waters break" but no one could actually explain it. Like everything in pregnancy/birth I am sure that everyone is different, but I was laying in bed and heard a pop sound, at the same time I felt the feeling in my tummy like an air bubble popping (It was very faint).I put a pad on and within half an hour I was feeling the waters gush. Advice for giving birth. I had my bed in an upright position and have my tummy leaning into it kneeling on my knees, I then held onto the back of the bed during contractions, (this also depends on the strength in your legs of course, long labors can be very draining), this way the baby is not fighting against gravity to come out. Also, when pushing with your contractions, push and try to do short quick pushes in the one contraction, this stops the babies head from going back in. Don't know if this will work for you but I had my baby in 2 hours from first contraction to last using these techniques. Sorry, I cant really answer your question in detail since this is my first and I really just wanted to say that im due the day after you lol but look out for your mucous plug, a bloody show, loose bowel movements, an increase in discharge and contractions.
