| | I don't know why, but my iTunes lost all its music after Apple software updated my iTunes... How can I restore my music? I have them in my iPod, and now I'm scared to sync my iPod with iTunes... Please help, is there anyway I can transfer my music from my iPod back to iTunes?
Buy this program http://www.dvdtoipodtouch.org/ipod-touch... it will transfer all your music from the ipod into itunes. very simple, easy to do!

If you have music on your ipod you have bought from itunes then you will have to authorize the computer to play them again the instructions are here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1389
Yeah , while updating i think u left the box "format ipod while updating" (or something like that) checked. This mistake formatted your whole ipod.
