i uploaded a new xbmc version today to my box and manually modified the xboxmediacenter.xml within the new directory. ( i kept the old one in root as it was).
Firefox 3 Excessive Disk IO and Freezing | Tombuntu::
[update] The update hasn’t fixed the problem for me. However, I’ve had only one brief random freeze, so maybe the issue has been minimized.

if i manually start the default xbe within the new dir, the spashscreen starts, i see the skin, but the box freezes. no ftp connection possible anymore, no commands taken from the controller.

xbmc is good. and so is flex. and boxee. while the latter had some bugs before, the last update for the mac did it for me. 1 month, 1 week ago by yoggel.
