Desperate Housewives new comeback season welcomes Dana Delaney as Katherine Mayfair, a woman who is all too familiar with the pretty lawns and pristine white picket fences of Wisteria Lane. In a recent interview with Will Keck of USA Today, Delaney let us in on what really has been getting underneath her Katherines skin after moving back to the town of Fairview.
A 12 year hiatus ended when Katherine Mayfair, former resident of Wisteria Lane, returns to the suburban neighborhood with her 17-year-old daughter, Dylan, and her gynecologist husband, Adam. However, the newcomer isnt in to rubbing elbows with the rest of the neighborhood, as she in fact gets into conflict with some of her neighbors with her strong and intimidating presence and her tendency to scrutinize their unsightly properties.

Bree [Marcia Cross] lives next door…Im sorry but I had to ask Bree to cut down her tree because its blocking my light so I couldnt grow my prize winning vegetables. Brees not very happy about that and Bree, the little snake, I dont wanna give to much away…but she sneaks in here and starts to nose around…my prize winning recipes, Delany revealed of her character, who was described as a perfectionist and much darker Bree.
In addition, Bree isnt the only one who is a nuisance to Katherine Mayfair. Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) and the new gay neighbors, Bob and Lee, respectively played by Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm have also gotten Katherines attention.

Delany says that Katherine is annoyed at the orange tree house of Lynette, whose kids are making a whole lot of noise day in and day out. Katherine seems to have an annoyance with noise as her gay neighbors newly installed sculpture that spouts water is also getting into her nerves.
Of course, the darker Bree wont let this pass as she plans to take control of the whole situation with a little politics.
