Totally for free.. not likely. Can she put together a website on her own? If so, then she could join affiliate programs like through Amazon and so on, and advertise items from there. Websites are pretty cheap these days, but not free. There are affiliate sites that are pulling down amazing profits, but you have to be able to advertise. I do know that there is a gift finder service that you can do for free. Basically you refer people who want to find particular items, and if they actually purchase the item you get a percentage of the profits. That is free to sign up for and you don't need a website. She could write for Associated Content or eHow, or try selling shirts via Cafe Press. I don't know what sort of money people make on that, but it seems to fit the assignment description.
