(1) Tommy is an eight-year-old boy. Oneday in the morning before going to school Tommy is told by his mother to wear a jacket he dislikes most. He is very upset about wearing that jacket to school. When walking to school, Tommy takes off and throws his jacket into a waste bin on the sidewalk. A homeless person nearby notices that and comes forward and picks up that jacket and puts it on right away. NOW who legally owns the jacket in question?
(2) Another day after school Tommy goes to a stationary store to buy some pencils. After paying money for the pencils Tommy is attracted by a luxury watch displayed on the counter so he also buys the watch as the store manager agrees to collect the payment from his parents later. Please comment on the issue of validity of tommy's purchasing of the pencils and the luxury watch respectively.
