LSI Logic Corporation announced the certification today of its Fusion-MPT based LSI44929-O and LSI40919-O host bus adapters (HBAs) with Spectra Logic's enterprise-class Spectra 12000 and 64000 tape libraries.

"Interoperability of 2 Gbit SAN components enables customers to deploy high performance, reliable and robust SAN solutions. Having Spectra Logic certify the LSI Logic 2 Gbit HBAs demonstrates our ongoing commitment to building the 2 Gbit SAN infrastructure."
