does not remove or otherwise effect the project or questions. From the Project Administration menu, select Survey URL Options. Type a name for your survey.

About project wikis::
CollabNets project wiki tool uses the MoinMoin wiki engine. You can also use a URL of the form <host>/wiki/HelpOn to search for help pages

OR
does the VB Project tools only support this:
domain.com/forum/project.php
Is there any implications to consider? would a few mod_rewrite tweaks allow this via sub-domain?

Project tools is a plugin. The files need to be in the forum area for it to work.
You can create a subdomain like you want to have it and let it redirect to /bugs/project.php
Its not exactly what you want but maybe also ok for you.
