Im a beautician i use bright colours on my clients i used to use Bonjour but now have started to use MAC there colours r very good but are very xpensive, but sometime Boot no.7 or no.17 have a realli good range is colours. There are very few cosmetic companies, most of them are all part of the same group. Price doesn't have much to do with effectiveness and you have to experiment to find products that suit your skin and they may not all be from the same brand. For example I really like Clinique Anti-Oxident Moisturiser but their toners hurt my skin.

I suppose it depends on your own skin type etc, but i usually get on very well with max factor and l'oreal as a combination. have tried benefit and liked it, but as my skin is slightly oily, it just doesnt last long enough.
