St. Paul, MN-based St. Paul Software, a provider of
Internet-based, business-to-business e-commerce solutions, has been
contracted by Cisco Systems to e-commerce enable its supply
chain.
Cisco said the move will significantly lower its trading partner
transaction, inventory and administrative costs.
Cisco Systems is utilizing SPS Commerce's Trading Partner Enablement program
to e-commerce enable its trading partners via a Web-based solution for
financial transactions, including invoicing, purchase order/purchase order
change and payment order acknowledgement.
SPS said Cisco will be able to send and receive all payments electronically.
Spending was not disclosed.
