Lock or Fast User Switch
Enable or disable fast user switching.
New to windows XP is a feature called ‘Fast User Switching’, as its name suggests it enables you to quickly alternate between users on your local machine. You can either enable (use) or disable (not use) the ‘Fast User Switching’ option. When you disable the FUS (Fast User Switching) option when you press the Start Key and L (on your keyboard) you computer will display a message saying that your computer has been locked and only you or an administrator can unlock the machine (just like Windows 2000). Where as if you have the FUS option enabled you will be greeted (when you press the start key and L) with a list of other usernames you can log on as (at the same time you will also be logged on at the machine).
